Guts-N-Glory Productions will team up with the Bourbon Barrel to host their first-ever "North America Power Pull Armwrestling Classic." This old school game of arms event is fun and unique, and honors Erie's own "Apache" Dann Carr (World Armwrestling Champion and Co-creator of the television hit "American Gladiators") who introduced the Power Pull style in 1980 to the American Armwrestling Association. This event also doubles as a fundraiser, as proceeds will benefit the Lower Eastside Iron Eagles who provide a safe haven – mentoring Erie's youth –  molding them into future community leaders.

"If you have never attended an arm wrestling tournament, then you are in for a treat. You will witness uncanny sportsmanship and respect among those who compete against each other, along with a crowd participating by cheering and applauding for all the competitors," exclaims Director of Guts-N-Glory Productions, Dale Vicos.

This all-inclusive event is open to both men and women, novice to expert. The divisions for competitions are separated between men and women, right and left hand, and weight classes. Each battle of the fittest will be sanctioned by the National Power Armwrestling Association as to make sure everything goes by the rules of the game.

Whether you're willing to participate and see if you can be "Strongest the Longest" or just to come be a spectator of a good-tasting sport, come down and have a good time and support a great new non-profit organization. -Symone Crockett
