FRIDAY, MAR. 26 - 27

If you are an educator, school staff member, or work within a licensed childcare program and your immune system is still awaiting instruction on how to fend off the novel coronavirus, Rite Aid pharmacies will be conducting a roll call this weekend.

Erie County's six Rite Aid locations will be prioritizing these vital professionals on Friday, March 26 and Saturday, March 27, per a directive from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Biden administration. To look for slots, visit riteaid.com/pharmacy/covid-qualifier — selecting any of the following categories will now qualify  you for (but not guarantee you) an appointment:

  1. Pre-Kindergarten to 12th Grade Educator & Staff
  2. Childcare Worker
  3. Family Childcare Provider
  4. Head Start and Early Head Start

The pharmacy says it will continue to leave vaccinations open to other Group 1A population segments throughout March, while supplies last.

Erie County Rite Aids are located at:

  1. 2715 Parade St. (Erie)
  2. 163 W. 26th St. (Erie)
  3. 925 West Erie Plaza (Erie)
  4. 1 E. High St. (Union City)
  5. 9141 Ridge Road (Girard)
  6. 827 N. Center St. (Corry)
