You Could Have It All Sow Good

SUNDAY, SEPT. 25

It's time for another reap-peat of one of Edinboro's favorite sows at Goodell Gardens and Homestead's Homegrown Harvest Festival.

Plow into a bumper crop of activities and offerings all Sunday afternoon, including:

  • A live quilting show courtesy of Loose Threads Quilters
  • Live music
  • Local food and beverage vendors
  • Farm-fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Handmade crafts and artwork
  • A kids' zone
  • A raffle auction benefiting the gardens

Currently confirmed vendors include (but are hardly limited to):

  • Sundae Vegan Desserts
  • Cart/Horse Distilling
  • Vanco Family Farm
  • Charmain's Custom Creations
  • The Borgia Boutique
  • Nature's Kisses Aromatherapy

Attendance is freer than an underarm in overalls, but donations will be graciously accepted at the gates and throughout the garden grounds to plant the seeds for future events, and the ongoing mission of Goodell Gardens to educate and inspire a passion for nature and horticulture in all who visit.

If you've ever wanted to feel more agricultured, stop on by — we promise you'll have the Dionysust time.

Noon to 5 p.m. // Goodell Gardens & Homestead, 221 Waterford St., Edinboro // Free // goodellgardens.org/homegrownharvest
