Saturday, May 12

The Independence Hill area is no stranger to eclectic and local shopping experiences and has been bringing them to Erie for some time now, having steadily become one of the most interesting sections of the city.

In its second year in operation, Flagship Flea returns, and it's larger than ever. If you're wondering what to expect, just know that it offers a uniquely original shopping experience that emphasizes the products of small business owners and local artisans. This event gives these people just the platform to sell their goods to both the community and out of town day trippers looking for an exceptional experience.

The event will be returning May 12 and running through September on the second Saturday of each month. It will be held along the sidewalks and parking lots of Peach Street spanning from 18th to 26th. Join the crowds as you shop, eat and explore local talent.

If you are a local food vendor/food truck, artisan or small business owner feel free to email flagshipflea@gmail.com to apply for a spot. Keep up with the special events and check out behind the scenes work by following @flagshipfleas on Instagram. — Roman Sabella
