We've conveniently listed all of the events happening on or around New Year's Eve in Erie this year and hope that however you plan to spend your time, that you have a healthy and happy 2024!

3, 2, 1…. Happy New Year! Who's ready to ring in 2024? In years past, Erie celebrated the new year with a community celebration throughout our downtown. And while First Night Erie is now a part of our history, our city, county, and region still offers plenty of opportunities to get sparkly and toast with some bubbly to the new year. Additionally, the first day of the year offers plenty of time for quiet reflection and intention setting. During this time, a first day hike is a tradition for many and offers fresh air and a natural opportunity for introspection and a healthy way to start the new year.

Listed below are a breadth of options from which to choose to ring in your new year, whatever your age. However you plan your celebration, we at the Reader wish you health, happiness, and success in 2024! Cheers!
