DJ Voto's Hard City returns to Basement Transmissions

Saturday, Oct. 9

DJ VOTO returns back to his hometown to let the city go harder than ever for his second Hard City event. This mini-festival will be something you don't want to miss as the last Hard City drew quite the crowd.

VOTO exclaims, "Hard City is seriously one of the most insane events you will ever go to. Between all the vendors and all-around good vibes, this is just an Erie event you do not want to hear about from your friends the next day!"

This high-energy event has something for everyone. With pro audio, pro lighting, visuals, live art, vendors, and of course pro talent you'll feel as if you were at a big festival such as Lost Lands where VOTO recently performed. With multiple cancellations of this event in the past due to the pandemic, everyone involved is ready to give it their all.

The talent for the evening is handpicked by VOTO based on their drive for music. The DJs will include DJC DUBS, DUBTAP, Omenz, and of course VOTO himself as he plans to bring to the crowd a handful of new originals. For MCs, you have local favorites CEE Brown, Profound, Brandi "FRESCO" Carlini, and her brother Jimmy Carlini. These artists plan to come together to give you an experience you will remember forever. As for vendors, you will see local shop Hectic Travelers and many others of VOTO's favorites.

This event is unique for Erie as we don't have a very prominent scene for electronic music plus with the decline of live performances due to the pandemic this is going to be the place you want to be. "I want people to have fun in Erie, that is the goal! Instead of saying it's OKAY to love Erie, I want the mindset to be ``we DO love Erie!" Let's go hard for OUR city. – Symone Crockett
