A Weekend for the She Tribe, formerly the For Women Only Expo, features hundreds of vendors and a host of activities to celebrate the solidarity of womankind.

Saturday, Oct. 27

Attention ladies: It's time for a girl's weekend.

Erie Promotions & Expos has planned a unique weekend-long event exclusively for women. Her: A Weekend for the She Tribe — formerly known as the For Women Only Expo — begins 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 and continues through Sunday, Oct. 28 at 4 p.m.

The event will feature hundreds of vendors, including more than 35 regional artisans with their handmade art and craft items, including Melkim Shea Designs, D's Custom Creations, Knots & Folds and Serendipity Designs.

Throughout the weekend, women can watch demonstrations on cooking and meet with Psychic Suzanna, clinical nutritionist Amie Hornaman and master make-up artist Amy Koske.

Regional Pennsylvania wines will be showcased with tastings available. And from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, ladies can enjoy a happy hour, complete with martini specials, karaoke and giveaways.

The first 1,000 women each day receive a free reusable bag. — Tracy Geibel
