Hit the Craft Beer Jackpot at Ales & Aces

Expect a full house when Ales & Aces returns to the Presque Isle Downs & Casino on Nov. 16, royally flush with liquid libations from Lake Erie Ale Trail member breweries.

Saturday, Nov. 16

Word has it that every single brewer on the Erie Ale Trail will be at this swank craft beer event at the Presque Isle Downs & Casino in celebration of Erie Craft Beer Week. You can bet your bottom dollar this means that the brewers will stack the deck with a great variety of hard-to-find seasonals and small-batch one-offs. If you play your cards right, you'll try a bunch of beers that you won't be able to find again.

Get your tickets early, because last year the queue stretched up the stairs to get into Churchill's Bourbon and Brew. Waits were short at the taps though since everyone has a commemorative pint glass instead of a much smaller taster (be careful with those big portions of your favorites though). Presque Isle Downs is known for their food, and last year's buffet was bangin', so you'll want to be all in. Plenty of places to sit and chat, great live music, and 10 bucks in free play help make this venue special. A great time is in the cards. — Bryan Toy
