Thank you to the visionaries

Who had a great dream

Dream, a blank canvas inspiring gifts

Dream, small beginnings, but the script has flipped

Flipped, into the news showcasing great talent

Flipped, into the place to find out where to be

Be, where the artists are sharing their gifts

Be, a fun spot for yourself and friends to visit

Visit, for a show or performance on stage

Visit, a new spot that highlights the arts

Arts, a major focus in our growing City

Arts, featuring artisans and a variety of food

Food, paired with music and a glass of wine

Food, can be the intro to experiencing culture

Culture, Erie certainly welcomes the richness

Culture, embracing the beauty of differences

Differences, making life much more interesting

Differences, because of our lens and view

View, a position that can be used to advance

View, increased territory, increased demand

Demand, because of exposure around our Erie

Demand, part of the Reader's manifestation

Manifestation, the results of focus and faith

Manifestation, proof that dreams come true

True, matching the blueprint within the heart

True, belief in it happening made you both start.

Mabeline hosts and promotes a variety of community building programs that focus on the Art of Healing through poetry and writing, including Live Poetry at Cafe 7-10 and The Poetry X-Change at Werner Books and Coffee. She can be reached at gamewithmabel@gmail.com
