Night of the Singers Carries Note

Friday, Dec. 13

This holiday season, one "gift" that continues to be shared is none other than the annual Night of the Singers, a showcase hosted by the good folks over at Artlore Studio (Stephen Trohoske and Lena Logvina). On December 13th, guests can enjoy two hours of live entertainment in the company of musicians such as Trohoske, Eric Brewer, Stix Thompson, Tony Grey, and Mike Abadon Faluz, as well as three more vocalists (still to be announced) who will be featured throughout the evening.

Night of the Singers serves as a revolving door for some of Erie's best vocal artists displaying what they do best in a room full of fine arts and crafts, making the setting more intimate and intriguing. The event would be great for a family to enjoy together — and possibly sing off-key to underneath the main performers if the urge to join in can't be contained.

Like many Artlore events, this annual gathering has introduced audiences to the variety of talent that Erie breeds year after year. Artlore's mission of bringing acts both affiliated and unaffiliated together has left witnesses and listeners mesmerized and prideful of our city.

"We will be performing everything from Nina Simone to The Smiths to Paul Williams to Bryan Ferry," Trohoske said. This evening will be yet another great representation of what Artlore firmly stands for — artistic unity. Before the neighborhood carolers have your house surrounded on Dec. 13, you may want to get the family ready to take refuge in Stephen's and Lena's magnificently musical hub. — Charles Brown
