Does the strange and unusual call to you? Do you feel out of place among "the norm?" Then Basement Transmissions has the show for you. BT is pulling out all the stops for this year's fourth annual Toxic Prom, with a "Freak Show & Oddities" theme. Bring a friend, bring a creepy cousin, unpack your favorite outfit from your goth phase, and get ready for the dance-tastic, emo line-up you wish you had at your real prom. Maddock, The Standby, Mallory Run, Jivån, Joose, and Time Cat won't disappoint with all their psychedelic, bitter, post-pop-punk, grooving tunes that will rock your fishnets off.

Aidan Sloppy, lead guitarist for Jivån, and one of the many visionaries behind this event, eagerly admits, "Toxic is my favorite event of the year at BT, so 'excited' would be an understatement!" Sloppy has been involved and playing at BT for nearly five years. "This is Jivan's third year on the Toxic Prom ticket," says Sloppy, and "it's going to be the best year yet. The lineup is very solid, and each year the bands draw more people to the event … turnout will be high, and the Toxic Prom Committee is putting together some really great stuff to do aside from hearing the bands. I can't wait!" Don't miss out on all the dancing, fun times, and the chance to be crowned the freakiest King and Queen in Erie. – Ella Julian
