Today, ahead of President Donald Trump rally to Luzerne County and Vice President Mike Pence's visit to Erie, the Democratic National Committee will continue their efforts, holding the Trump administration accountable. By 'taking over' the Wilkes-Barre Times Leader's homepage to share how the administration's "broken economic promises and failed pandemic promises," has affected Pennsylvanians.

It will be a homepage takeover that will be placing ads in every available space on Times Leader's homepage to create an opportunity for all to see what the Trump administration has failed to do, in the county's largest newspaper where Trump's event will be.

These ads will lead voters to another Ad from the DNC, "Pennsylvania Can't Afford 4 More Years of Trump," highlighting his horrid economic record, including his recklessness with China and his trade war that plunged Pennsylvania's manufacturing industry into a recession.

"We're making sure voters know the truth about Trump's incompetent coronavirus response and his long record of broken promises," said DNC Chair Tom Perez. "Over 8,800 Pennsylvanians have died from COVID-19, millions are out of work in the Trump economy, factories are shuttering, and President Trump simply doesn't have a plan to stop this pandemic or bring back jobs from overseas as he promised. This election, Pennsylvanians are going to send a message: Trump has failed us, and we're ready for real leadership."
