During these very trying times of the COVID-19 pandemic, people are frantically searching for outlets to find entertainment and seek sanity. "Tales Behind the Creative" will assist in spreading positive energy and vibes. An artist/musician/creator-driven show, Symoné Crockett interviews local creatives on how they are coping with the stress of COVID-19, how they are proceeding with their creative juices, and offering the audience a chance to see these creators in action with either past or present material.

The first episode featured local hip-hop artist Jordy The Traveler. He is no stranger to the local music scene as he has been writing his own music for over ten years and has performed at live venues such as Basement Transmissions, the Erie Art Museum, Celebrate Erie and many more. With a recently released music video titled, "Pilot Driven" and songs such as, "Blast Sauce" and "Fill The Space," he will take you on an adventure through space and time every time you take a listen. "I do what feels right. Shows are fun, people get inspired and it makes me feel good to perform in front of others," expresses Jordy.

Not only is Jordy a part of the local music scene but he also is an avid entrepreneur as he has his own clothing company, 94 Eleven. With a recently released line of "Karma" apparel, you can also see his graphic design talents in action with his "Jordy The Traveler" and "Dreams Become A Reality" logos on his variety of clothing.

Without having the opportunity to perform around the local community due to the quarantine and Stay-at-Home order, Jordy spends his free time creating new music, logos, and other designs as well as playing and streaming video games to fill the void and keep his mind off of the craziness that surrounds each and every one of us.

You can find Jordy on social media via Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube. His music can be found on Soundcloud and all of his clothing can be viewed and purchased via his website.

Tales Behind the Creative will be aired live almost every day/night on Symoné Crockett's Facebook page. So be sure to look out for the time each day via her Facebook and tune into the show, ask questions, see what your local creatives are up to, and take a moment to take your mind off of everything that is going on around us. Let's spread the positive vibes during such a negative Time and most importantly, have some fun.
