The Tony Award-winning THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME has been seen by over 3 million people in 9 countries around the world, most recently completing a smash-hit UK and International Tour at the Piccadilly Theatre in London's West End—and now it's coming to the LECOM Stage at the Erie Playhouse. Christopher (Luke Bongiorno), a mathematically gifted boy of fifteen on the Autism Spectrum, stands beside Mrs. Shears' (Teni Hodge-Siano) dead dog. It has been speared with a garden fork, it is seven minutes after midnight and Christopher is under suspicion. Trying to clear his name, he records each fact in the book he is writing to solve the mystery of who murdered Wellington. But his detective work, forbidden by his father (Ken Brundage), takes him on a frightening journey that upturns his world. An additional cast of talented Playhouse performers (Karen Schelinski, Krista Perry, Michael Burns, Bev Waltz, Michael Weiss, Michael Wachter, Janeida Turbi, and newcomer Samiar Nefzi) under the direction of Kate Neubert-Lechner, brings the show to vibrant life. Additional production credits go to Leah Mathie, assistant director, and enhanced scenic and lighting design by Sam Brady.
