Gannon University's Schuster Theatre presents "The Wolves"

Gannon University's Schuster Theatre presents, "The Wolves." This 2017 Pulitzer Prize finalist and winner of the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize (recognizing women who have written works of outstanding quality for the English-speaking theatre) explores the challenges of nine teenage soccer players over the series of single season – negotiating relationships, developing skills, sharing victories and losses both on and off the field. While the language is explicit, and some topics of conversation are uncomfortable, the overall effect of the play is to celebrate and empower, even in times of challenge or desolation.
