World renowned sailor, Howard Rice, presents an evening of lore and adventure as he recounts tales from his voyages throughout many exotic locations including a solo journey through the Strait of Magellan from Patagonia to the Tierra del Fuego archipelago, and the Western Beagle Channel at the tip of South America. Howard will share photographs, videos, stories, host a question and answers session, and provide tours of his sailboat, Southern Cross. This in-person event is hosted by the Erie Maritime Foundation and all proceeds will benefit construction of the Schooner Porcupine. Reservations can be made by calling BMC at 814-456-4077. Tickets are available at the door for a $25 donation. All attendees are required to wear a face mask and practice physical distancing. If you are unable to attend in person, a Zoom option is available with an online $25 donation.
