LECOM Finish Line for the Front Line 2021 Virtual 5K

Members of the public can help boost the future of healthcare by participating in the second annual LECOM Finish Line for the Front Line 2021 Virtual 5K. Registration opens May 1.

Unlike a normal run/walk 5K that is scheduled for a specific day, time and location, the LECOM Virtual 5K can be completed at a time and by a method of each participant's choosing and, as an online event, can be accomplished anywhere in the world. The LECOM Virtual 5K also keeps in mind best practices for social distancing, as participants are encouraged to complete the 3.1-mile distance alone or in small groups rather than within the large crowds normally seen at these types of races.

All proceeds from the Virtual 5K will benefit the LECOM Student Scholarship Fund, helping to defray the educational costs of the nation's future healthcare providers attending LECOM's campuses in Erie and Greensburg, Pennsylvania, Bradenton, Florida, and Elmira, New York.
