An Update On The EDDC's $100 Million Revitalization Of Downtown

Friday, January 28, 2022 from 12 PM to 1:30 PM

The Erie Downtown Development Corporation and its partners are currently investing more than $100 million to revitalize downtown Erie. The EDDC's efforts will transform approximately 478,000 square feet of space, creating room for 25 new businesses and more than 140 new residential units. Flagship City Food Hall, Erie's first-ever food hall, and Flagship City Public Market, the first operating grocery store in downtown in decades, are just two of the organization's projects. Join CEO John Persinger for an update on downtown's progress. Covid-19 policies will be in effect throughout programming, please review the JES Covid-19 policy here. Patrons will need to show their vaccination cards or proof of a negative test. While Erie County remains on alert, masks will be required. Advanced registration is required for all JES events. Tickets will not be sold at or during events. This Lunch n' Learn event is $10/person. All JES programming is free to all Erie County students with advanced registration and proof of enrollment at event check-in. Payments must be made at registration. Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, and Discover accepted. Cash payments are no longer accepted by the Jefferson.
