The United States is a country of immigrants and has been built by the many waves of immigrants. In this presentation, Jefferson Scholar-in-Residence and Professor Baher Ghosheh draws from his research to develop a deeper understanding of the history, policies, and politics of immigration and refugees in the United States, our state, and region. The talk also focuses on immigrants' impact on the economy, diversity, and population.
