Agatha Christie's Verdict
Directed by David W. Mitchell starring Robert Yates * Lisa Simonian * Larry Lewis * Sue Hansen * Tori Snyder Amanda Hill * Chad Santos * Michael Graham * Wayne Gardner * David Strazisar
From the Mistress of Suspense! Karl Hendryk, a brilliant professor, has fled persecution in his homeland with his wife and her cousin, and finds himself in London. His wife, Anya, is suffering from a progressively debilitating disease. Anya's cousin Lisa is her caretaker. Enter Helen Rollander, a spoiled student who takes up private lessons with the professor. Not a murder mystery or a whodunnit per se, but a profound and thoughtful piece, delving deeply into the psychology of relationships and moral philosophy. This is the story of a misguided idealist who loves so intensely it becomes ultimately destructive and unattainable.
