Quiet Parts Out Loud - an exhibition by Ron Bayuzick featuring new paintings and sculptures.
Artist Statement: Although I explore many different ideas within my art, it seems that the conclusion in the end always results in what began as quiet thoughts; transformed into tangible objects. I have so many influences and interests stemming from the history of art embedded in me that is this mixed confusion of thoughts, ideas and memories that begin to align into a jumbled variation of insistent cohesive review. Old and new work spanning several years become equivalent. My somewhat unsettled approach would demonstrate an assemblage of my version of what art is all about. The need to create is more than just a fundamental part of being human. By working in 3D and 2D, I have the ability to convey both me as a complex artist and also show that the history of art is rooted in an outright need to create and satisfy my assorted interests—letting my sculptures and paintings communicate out loud what was once a pile of quiet parts.
