He will share what he saw and learned, including a comparison of the U.S.'s bottom-up approach to place-based economic development contrasted to Germany's top-down; the political implications at the local, national, and global levels of both; the evolving roles of universities; and what the countries stand to teach – and learn from – each other through Transatlantic idea-sharing.
