Movers of Edinboro: Remembering the Leroy and Beatrice Smith Family

In 1948, Leroy and Beatrice Smith made the decision to start their family in the rural community of Edinboro, Pennsylvania. In this Black History Month presentation, Melinda Meyer, local historian and co-author of the Jefferson Essay, "Movers of Edinboro," about the Smith family, will take us back in time to teach us about a local family who broke racial and cultural barriers while leading by example. *FREE
