Grounded Printshop invites the community to an evening of art and artists during Gallery Night with Grounded Maker's Market and the grand opening of Liminal Space, a new gallery and community gathering space located within Grounded Printshop. Additionally, Leadhead Screenprinting will host an art show of over 30 artists who customized blank skateboard decks. Styles ranging from tattoo artists, abstractionists, fine art painters and illustrators will be on display in their new shop located on Grounded property. Music will be provided by Pittsburgh's Benefits and Erie's Bootjack. Food is provided by E-Dogg's and adult beverages by Taylor and Tonic.
The Grounded Maker Market highlights a curated selection of regional artists and vendors offering handmade artwork, prints, ceramics, textiles, jewelry, paper goods, and other unique creations. Visitors will have the opportunity to shop directly from artists while learning more about their processes and practices.
The evening also marks the public opening of Liminal Space, a new gallery and event space dedicated to exhibitions, workshops, movement classes, performances, and community gatherings. Designed to be a flexible and welcoming environment, Liminal Space will serve as a platform for artists, educators, and creative organizers to share their explorations and ideas.
In addition to the market and gallery opening, visitors are encouraged to explore Grounded Printshop's studios, home to a diverse group of artists and creative businesses working in printmaking, fiber arts, ceramics, illustration, embroidery, wellness practices, and more. The event offers a unique opportunity to experience the collaborative ecosystem that has developed within Grounded over the past several years.
