On June 1, 2025, the Erie Playhouse welcomes the community to enjoy our Youtheatre Summer Kickoff, a FREE event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. showcasing some of the best young talent in the Erie area plus activities, snacks, face-painting, therapy dogs, crafts, goodies, raffles and more for families to enjoy. Kids of all ages will enjoy FREE activities, including public performances from our own Playhouse Showstoppers! Taradoodles will be on hand, creating her signature face painting masterpieces! Help upgrade our own Playhouse sidewalk when you create chalk art for all to enjoy under the marquee. Grab a free lemonade, add to our Youtheatre memory books, enjoy make-and-take crafts, selfie stations, visits with therapy dogs from Therapy Dogs United and more! Available for purchase, we'll have goodies from E DOGG'S Hot Dogs, Casey's Ice Cream Cart, and raffle tickets to win prizes from local vendors! Join us following our Youtheatre Summer Kickoff event for a Youtheatre Alumni Reunion at Plymouth Tavern from 2 - 5 p.m. Youtheatre alumni from across the decades are invited to attend!
