WQLN is hitting the links for a great cause on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Whispering Woods Golf Club. Participants will enjoy a full day of golf, games, and camaraderie, all in support of public media in northwestern Pennsylvania. The event kicks off with a sausage sandwich buffet lunch at 11:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Golfers will stay refreshed with beverages provided on the course, including beer, pop, and water, plus a keg stationed between the front and back nine. On-course contests and activities include mulligans, a putting contest, Closest to the Pin, and more, with chances to win prizes throughout the day. The evening will conclude with a cash bar and a steak dinner catered by O'Charley's. The cost is $540 per four-person team. Proceeds support WQLN's mission to educate, entertain, and engage the community through quality public media programming.
