The Friends of the Erie County Library will hold their Fall Book Drive on Saturday, September 13th from 10 am until 2 pm at the Flo Fabrizio Ice Center at 527 West 38th Street. This is a one-day event. To ensure a safe traffic flow, cars with book donations should proceed through the Zoo entrance, turn right and drive through the parking lot to the Ice Center. No need for drivers to leave their cars, volunteers will direct traffic and collect donations.
Only used books, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, and puzzles plus vinyl LPs and 45's will be accepted. Please no encyclopedias, Readers' Digest Condensed Books, textbooks, magazines, VHS tapes or cassettes. Donation guidelines can be found on our website: https://erielibraryfriends.org/donate-books-and-materials/
Books and materials collected on this day will be sorted in categories and sold at the Great American Book Sale, our three small seasonal sales, at the Bayfront Bookshelf at the Blasco Library and on Abebooks.com by searching for Bayfront Bookshelf. All proceeds for these sales benefit the Erie County Public Library.
