Voices of History Erie: Screening and Conversation

Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 6 PM

PA Humanities, in partnership with Erie's Black Wall Street, proudly announces the upcoming launch of Voices of History Erie, part of a statewide initiative amplifying the lived experiences of Black Pennsylvanians. The project will premiere with an exclusive screening and conversation at the Erie Art Museum (20 E 5th St, Erie, PA 16507) on May 14, 2026 beginning with a 6:00 PM reception followed by a 7:00 PM screening and conversation with Pulitzer Prize Winner, Dr. Edda Fields-Black, author of COMBEE: Harriet Tubman, the Combahee River Raid, and Black Freedom during the Civil War.
