Meet and enjoy local author, Daniel Gillespie, and his book, "Echo in the Silence" at Werner Books & Coffee on Friday, June 5 from 12-2 PM.
Step into the world of Eli, a nonverbal boy navigating the courtroom, the school system, and the challenges of being autistic in a world that doesn't always understand. Through moments of frustration, triumph, and quiet reflection, this autobiography reveals the unfiltered truth of Eli's experiences and the impact of communication barriers on his daily life.
From navigating legal troubles to finding his voice in unexpected ways, this story is a compelling look at resilience, understanding, and the power of being seen — even when the world feels too loud. Perfect for parents, educators, advocates, and anyone seeking a raw, honest perspective on autism, communication, and the fight for dignity.
Daniel Gillespie is an author, advocate, and storyteller dedicated to giving a voice to the unheard.
