Book Signing With Janet Rose Wojalik

Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 11 AM to 1 PM

Come support local author, Janet Rose Wojalik, for her book, "Too Much? Go Find Less" at Werner Books & Coffee on Sunday June 14 from 11 AM to 1 PM.

At 72, Dr. Janet Rose Wojtalik has survived two divorces, raised two sons, navigated identity crises, mastered the art of not taking anyone's bait, and learned that chin hairs appear with ninja-like stealth. Now she's sharing the wisdom, humor, and hard-won truths from seven decades of living boldly. "Too Much? Go Find Less." isn't your typical memoir or self-help guide. It's a scrapbook of survival—a collection of life lessons gathered like beach glass, some shiny, some cracked, all worth keeping. From dating disasters that become comedy gold to the sacred art of girlfriend gatherings, from parenting adult children who think they're suddenly in charge of your life to finding love at 72 (yes, it's possible and it's spectacular), this book celebrates the magnificent chaos of being a woman who's lived long enough to know better but is still brave enough to keep trying.

Dr. Janet Rose is a lifelong educator, author, and unapologetic treasure hunter (of both antiques and life's absurdities). With a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Duquesne University, she spent her career championing inclusive education and leading with heart in the world of special education. Her award winning research on the ecology of female leadership launched a thriving second act as a public speaker, where she's known to deliver inspiring insights---with just the right amount of sass. She is the author of a number of books promoting female leadership, children's books, an, most recently, a humorous survival guide rewriting the rules of aging, dating, parenting, and showing up for your own life. Now retired, Janet calls North East her home where she upcycles furniture, creates art in many forms, and writes....blending humor and honesty and proving that laughter really is the best therapy--especially when paired with power tools and a cup of strong coffee (or wine)!
