McKean Community Day Returns July 25, 2026, with Family Fun, Community Activities, and Fireworks The McKean Community invites you to celebrate the annual McKean Community Day on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the McKean Community Recreational Park. The day will be filled with family-friendly activities, local vendors, and community traditions for residents and visitors of all ages. Activities begin at 12pm and will include craft vendors, food vendors, an 18-hole mobile putt-putt course, bounce houses, Touch-a-Truck with Erie Water Works, community organizations, and more. • Kids' Arm Wrestling Tournament-Registration begins at 10:30am in Pavilion #2; Tournament starts at 11:00am The community parade will step off at 1:00 p.m., followed by a variety of events throughout the afternoon, including: • Erie Water Works "Touch a Truck" will be located at Pavilion #1 • Professional Arm Wrestling Tournament at 2:30 pm in Pavilion #2 • Cornhole Tournament at 3:00 p.m. • McKean Women's Group Pie Auction at 4pm • Pie donations accepted from 10:30am to 2:00pm (No cream, custard, or pumpkin pies accepted) Additional activities taking place around the community include: • Stuff the Bus Book Bag Distribution at the St. Francis Ushers Club from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00pm • Ice Cream Social at Trinity Lutheran Church • McKean Hose Company Open House beginning at 2:00pm featuring 85th Anniversary T-shirts and Sportsman's Raffle ticket sales • St. Francis Ushers Club Bingo from 6:00pm to 8:00pm The day will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display at dusk. McKean Community Day is organized by local volunteers and community organizations dedicated to bringing families together and celebrating the spirit of the McKean community. Admission to the park and many activities are free, making it an affordable day of entertainment for everyone.
