Create For Change Art Exhibition & Auction Fundraiser

Friday, August 7, 2026 from 4 PM to 6 PM

Create For Change Returns to Celebrate Art, Philanthropy, and Community Impact

Corry Artists' Guild Hosts Art Exhibition, Auction, Erie Gives Awareness Event, and the Return of Charity Chairs sponsored by Corry Area Fine Arts Council.
CORRY, PA — The Corry Artists' Guild & Corry Area Fine Arts Council invites the community to attend Create For Change, an Art Exhibition, Auction, and Erie Gives Awareness Event that brings together local artists and nonprofit organizations to celebrate the power of creativity, philanthropy, and community engagement.
The event will feature original artwork created by local artists and inspired by the missions and impact of participating nonprofit organizations. Through these unique collaborations, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the important work being done throughout our region while supporting both the arts and local nonprofits.
As an Erie Gives Awareness Event, Create For Change aims to connect community members with organizations making a difference every day while promoting opportunities for charitable giving, volunteerism, and community involvement.
A special highlight of this year's event is the return of Charity Chairs, a beloved Corry Artists' Guild tradition. Originally introduced during the Guild's early years, Charity Chairs challenges artists to transform ordinary wooden chairs into one-of-a-kind works of art. A limited collection of chairs will be auctioned as a featured segment of the event.
In addition to the exhibition and auction, attendees will have the opportunity to meet participating artists, connect with nonprofit representatives, learn about local causes, and bid on unique artwork that tells stories of community impact.
