First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor

Wednesday, August 19, 2026 from 10 AM to 6:30 PM

This course empowers instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, and AED courses. To enroll, you must hold a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher) certification or its equivalent and be at least 16 years old by the course's conclusion. Upon registration, reviewing and adhering to the instructions in the email attachment accompanying your registration confirmation is crucial. This comprehensive blended learning course comprises online content, a skills session, and classroom segments. Completion of the online material is mandatory before participating in the classroom activities. For further details, please consult the attachment you will receive via email upon registering for this course.

A prerequisite of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certification is necessary to attend. Registering for this class will require a copy of your current certificate. You should use the same email to register for this course as you did for your current certificate to prevent merging issues later. If you are registered with Household HQ to take the basic course before the instructor course and still want to attend, call Household HQ to make arrangements. Once you register, an email will be sent to you for proof of current certification of American Red Cross First Aid/APR/AED. When this is verified, you will receive instructions to start online learning.

Check junk and spam folders before reaching out to Household HQ. If you have concerns or problems, contact us at the information in the footer of this page. Completion of the online component of this course is required prior to attending the in-person session. Please review the Policy Page before making your purchase. Refunds will not be provided for those who do not complete the course before attending the in-person session. Please bring proof of online completion, such as a screenshot or copy of online completion certificates to the in-person skills session.

Secure more than four tickets for workplace training by calling us at (814) 201-7854, and we'll arrange a session directly at your location. Keep in mind, that a separate email address is required for each ticket, as every online course and certificate demands its email. The course run time is a minimum of 8 Hours. This time does not include breaks and official time may be extended to meet minimum classroom requirements. Please plan accordingly.
