Rick Bell will be at Werner Books for a conversation about his EBook, My Son Comes Home. Learn about Rick's son Bryan, who gave his life while serving overseas during the Global War on Terror. Rick's story is one of many from our community so we encourage people to come and share their experiences as well with family who served in our military.
Werner Books will have resources and representatives on hand from some of our local veteran's groups to discuss the work they do in Erie and beyond. We are excited to welcome Rick and look forward to a respectful and enlightening conversation.
From Rick: "Besides the motive for this book, that is to provide an answer to (I can not imagine), a statement I heard so many times, I hope to have people maybe have more voice when we decide to send the best and strongest military ever known to mankind to war. I also want to make the reader consider a few things, like how wasteful it is to lose the best people we have in our country."
