MIAC Live: The Seth Rudetsky Concert Series Starring Beth Leavel

Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 7:30 PM

SiriusXM radio host Seth Rudetsky returns to Mercyhurst University, and this time he's bringing his award-winning concert series. Rudetsky will team up with the hilarious, Tony Award-winning Broadway star Beth Leavel for a one-night-only special event filled with intimate, funny, behind-the-scenes stories and incredible performances.

The set list will have Leavel recreating show-stopping performances from her unique Broadway career as a quadruple threat—singer, dancer, actress, and comedienne—including "As We Stumble Along," the number from "The Drowsy Chaperone" that not only brought down the house night after night but also won her the coveted Tony Award.

Seth Rudetsky's Broadway concerts are always one of a kind because they're never fully planned in advance. Every single one is different. Since Leavel began her Broadway career as "Anytime Annie" in the hit musical "42nd Street," you can bet Rudetsky will make her perform her original tap solo—even if they've never rehearsed it and she's wearing heels. Who knows what will happen at the performance you attend?

No matter what, Rudetsky will have Leavel sing songs from her entire career, including the Gershwins' "Crazy for You" and the Tony Award-winning revival of "Show Boat," classic diva roles like Dolly Gallagher Levi and Mama Rose, and her brilliant turn as the self-obsessed Broadway star Dee Dee Allen in "The Prom." Even though the song she sings is titled, "It's Not About Me," you can bet it is!

If you love amazing musicianship and sassy comedy, don't miss this one-night-only event!
