Join us for our fourth Goat Fest on August 22 from 1-4pm at the Erie Benedictine's Glinodo Center!
The goats from two farms, Let's Goat Buffalo and Rosemary and Pine, will again spend a few weeks on our Glinodo property helping to clear the woods of invasive species.
• Watch the goats and learn about "Goatscaping" with programs provided by a goat herd at 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm
• Walk the storybook trail, exploring nature while reading a story by local author Heather Cash
• **New this year** Bring your own t-shirt, hat, or bag to be printed onsite with a commemorative Goat Fest design
• Enjoy hands-on environmental education with the Regional Science Consortium
• Participate in crafts, play games, and enjoy snacks – all free!
• Get a picture in our Goat Fest photo booth
• While the goats can't be pet (they'll be munching on poison ivy!) the pups from Therapy Dogs United will be with us and eager to accept snuggles
Goat Fest takes place at Glinodo Center, 6270 E. Lake Rd, across from Mount Saint Benedict Monastery in Harborcreek. The event is free and open to the public.
Thank you to our sponsors, including the Regional Science Consortium and UPMC Health Plan.
