The goal is to read 1,000 books to your child before kindergarten. It's simple! Have you read the same book a dozen times? You can count it as 12 books! Have you attended library storytime? You can count each book read! If you read just one book a night you will have read 365 books in a year!
Any child from birth until they enter kindergarten can participate. You can pace yourself and be done in just a few months or take a few years.
