Celebrate JoLynn McClintock and her book series, "Hallie and Rollie Mysteries: Baseball Can Be Dangerous," on Sunday, September 27 from 2-4 PM at Werner Books & Coffee.
JoLynn McClintock found herself with free time for the first time in many years. She started reading and developed a love of cozy mysteries. When an idea popped into her head to write a book about her mischievous dog she ran with it and became an author. She is a wife, a boy mom, and a dog mom to one pup from a small town in Northwest Pennsylvania. She enjoys spending time with her family and watching her son play the sport of the season. Her favorite things to do are read, camp, bake, watch movies, and nap.

A newly graduated teen, her pup, a baseball tournament, and a body…
Hailey Imes dreams of returning to the small town of Saegersville where her family spent their weekends when she was young…before her parents divorced. She and her Mom lived in the big city of Pittsburgh but she longed for the quiet and peaceful cottage along the banks of French Creek. She never expected her and her dog, Rollie would be involved in a freak accident that would lead them to new unexplained experiences. Nor did she expect that they would find a body while watching a baseball game. Determined to find out whodunnit, she and Rollie pair up with the local Deputy, Cain Whitlock, who just happens to be Hailey's childhood crush. Although hesitant and curious if there is more to these two than meets the eye, Deputy Cain has a hard time resisting the amateur sleuth duo. He is torn between his memories of their long ago friendship, his love of dogs, and the rules of his job. Can Hailey keep her wits about her in the presence of her crush? Can she and Rollie keep the secret of their newly developed side effects from the accident? Can Cain bend the rules in an effort to find justice? Will this trio solve the case before its too late?
