Make room in your family's schedule for an intergenerational book club! How does it work? Adults and children read different books with similar themes. Everyone meets up at the library for separate book discussions. Parents get some "grown up time" while their kids chat with new friends. Then, the whole group comes back together for more conversation, snacks, and fun activities!
Each household must register at least one adult and one child and will receive one free copy of each book. Register at events.erielibrary.org by October 10th. This month, we'll be making DIY nightlights to chase the nightmares away after adults read Incidents Around the House by Josh Malerman (inspiration for the upcoming horror film "Other Mommy") and kids explore The Nest by Kenneth Oppel.
