Celebrate local author, Jessie Beatty and her book, Tilly's Cloudy Day, with a book signing at Werner Books & Coffee on Saturday 11/14 from 12-2 PM.
The book follows Tilly the Corgi as she tries to find the sun on a cloudy day. The story is told with minimal words to encourage a conversation between the reader and listener, and so that kids can tell their own story while reading it! I hope that this book inspires kids and adults to stop, look around, and enjoy small, quiet moments in life.
Jessie Beatty is an illustrator working and living in Grove City, Pennsylvania. She graduated from PennWest Edinboro University in May of 2025, where she studied dual concentrations in illustration and painting. While there, she created her senior capstone project and first self-published book, Tilly's Cloudy Day.
