One Bayfront Tour

Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 10 AM
Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 12 PM

One Bayfront announced today a series of Walking Tours with Mayor Daria S. Devlin and Deonte Cooley. One Bayfront, in partnership with the City of Erie, is inviting community members to take part in two walking tour events focused on exploring Erie's bayfront, learning about its future, and the One Bayfront vision.

The walks will provide an opportunity for participants to experience key waterfront destinations firsthand and discover areas they may have not visited before, while engaging in conversation about ongoing and future opportunities to strengthen Erie's connection to the bayfront.

Guided by Erie Mayor Daria S. Devlin and community member Deonte Cooley, the tours will highlight areas identified for redevelopment, recreation, public access, and future investment. As planning moves forward, community input continues to be an important part of the process. Whether you are a frequent visitor to the Bayfront or have never had the chance to explore it up close, the walks are designed to create space for open conversation about the waterfront's current conditions, its potential and the priorities residents want considered as its future takes shape.

The first tour will begin at 10 a.m. at the Erie County Blasco Library, located at 160 E. Front Street, and will feature a walk to Dobbins Landing and the Bayfront Convention Center before returning to the library. The route is approximately 1.46 miles.

A second tour will begin at 12 p.m. at Liberty Park, located at 828 W. Bayfront Parkway, and will include a walk to the Convention Center before returning to Liberty Park. The route is approximately 1.64 miles.

"Our waterfront belongs to the community," said Mayor Daria S. Devlin. "These conversations are a chance for residents to ask questions and learn more about the opportunities posed on Erie's waterfront."

The Walking Tour events are free and open to the public. Community members are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring questions, ideas, and feedback about the future of Erie's waterfront.
