Do you know a young entrepreneur making waves in the Erie community?

Junior Achievement of Western PA is seeking nominations for its annual Celebrating Success event, which honors two young business leaders that "have made — or are positioned to make — an outstanding business, social, or cultural impact" in our region. To qualify, they must:

  • Be 40 years of age or younger
  • Exhibit leadership qualities in their professional career
  • Advocate for and nurture entrepreneurship locally
  • Demonstrate the will to mentor students/prospective entrepreneurs

Nominations are open through Friday, Sept. 9 at noon and can be submitted at jawesternpa.org.

The Celebrating Success event will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at the Erie Art Museum, where the winners will be recognized, along with the other accomplishments of the Junior Achievement of Western PA, which this past school year delivered financial literacy and career readiness programming to more than 33,000 K-12 students across 56 counties in Western Pa. and Northern W. Va.
