The UPMC Sunset Music Series will present a pair of powerful local acts right on the sands of Presque Isle Wednesday, June 17.

Bassist and composer extraordinaire Stephen Trohoske will lead a trio to headline the night, as he, fellow bassist Tony Grey, and drummer Ken "Stix" Thompson put on a display of fiery swing and smooth Latin grooves on the beach. Joining Trohoske's trio is Erie alternative acoustic duo The Mighty Sea, kicking off the evening with the some hauntingly beautiful tunes while playing right next to Erie's mighty lake – all for free in a gorgeous location. — Alex Bieler
