Having traveled the world and seen firsthand the success of their close-harmony pop hits, the Lettermen are making a stop here in Erie.

With five Grammy nominations, 18 Gold Albums worldwide, as well as 32 consecutive Billboard chart albums, The Lettermen are no strangers to high achievements. Formed in 1959, the trio continues to remain popular and inspire new generations. Their hits have a sense of timelessness to them. After all, what has more significance in a good musical number than love itself?

Tony Butala, Bobby Poynton, and Donovan Tea are the three charismatic men that currently make up The Lettermen. While Butala may be the only member who's been a Letterman since the beginning, it's important to note that Tea has been a Letterman since 1984, and Poynton has been a Letterman for over 10 years.

They may not always don their signature letter sweaters, but their harmony cannot be denied. Their theme is simple — the love song. Valentine's Day may have already come and gone, though wouldn't it be nice to celebrate your significant other or a loved one all over again? — Kalli Oberlander
