A forum will be held at Asbury Woods Nature Center in Millcreek Township at 6:30 p.m., which will be moderated by All Aboard Erie and Bike Erie. This forum will be held to discuss a myriad of transportation issues within the Erie region, such as the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority (EMTA), bike paths, ridesharing, and the possibility of high speed rail.

Kathy Dahlkemper and Art Oligeri, both Erie County Executive candidates, will join the mayoral candidates, John Persinger and Joe Schember, for this forum.

Potential discussion topics – including the modernization of parking payment, public transportation, and city infrastructure – will be covered. Each of the candidates are welcome to offer their ideas and proposals so as to explain how their viewpoints and visions for the city of Erie align with current civic plans like Erie Refocused. Moderators and audience members are invited to ask questions regarding the material being covered.

This forum is open and free to the public. The annual All Aboard Erie meeting will directly follow the conclusion of the event.
