Thursday, Dec. 27

Tenor Daniel Cabanillas plans to put on an unforgettable performance at St. George's Church with "A Holiday Concert to Remember." Anticipate hearing a variety of songs from "Ave Maria" and "Can't Help Falling In Love With You" to holiday classics like "O' Holy Night" and "White Christmas." When he was a child, Cabanillas, a natural tenor, found his calling as a singer and his passion is palpable.

A 20-piece orchestra — consisting of local and regional musicians — will accompany Cabanillas, in addition to a liturgical dance group (dance that is an expression of worship used to enhance music and singing), which will only enrich the atmosphere this concert promises to provide. Lighting and dance will sync with Cabanillas and the orchestra, all of which will be broadcast on the church's monitors in high-definition.

Prepare to sit back and watch a stunning show that will delight all of your senses. You may even find yourself singing along. This holiday concert is fun for the whole family. Whether you've been to St. George's before or not, join in on some holiday cheer and timeless classics. — Kalli Oberlander
