Port Farms
Port Farms is one of many options in Erie County for fresh cut Christmas trees, either by cutting down your own or choosing from many varieties available pre cut.

Douglas, Fraser, Balsam or White Pine, there's nothing quite like the scent of a fresh evergreen tree to get you into the holiday spirit. Coming home to a real Christmas tree, where the air is perfumed by the natural scent of the winter woods, brings nostalgia of holidays gone by. Achieving this kind of nostalgia is easy these days with so many local farms, both large and small, offering fresh cut Christmas trees ready for trimming (even some you can cut down yourself). So continue on the holiday tradition, or start a new one of your own, and check out any of the establishments below (although this is not an exhaustive list) for a coniferous cornucopia of evergreen options:

Port Farms, 2055 Stone Quarry Road, Waterford

Cut your own, or choose from a variety of pre-cut options, Port Farms in Waterford offers a wide array of holiday options. They also have fresh wreaths and other decor available. If you schedule your visit well, you may even get a chance to meet the big guy in red or the Grinchy guy in green, and make some great holiday memories in the process.

November 25 to December 23, Wednesdays – Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. // For more info: portfarms.com

Mason Farms, 839 Peninsula Drive or 4115 Old French Road, Erie

Pumpkintown may be over, but the fun doesn't have to stop at Mason Farms. You can find fresh cut trees at both locations, and their Peninsula Drive location offers a large array of ornaments, fresh or artificial wreaths, decor, and gifts for everyone on your list.

Open through December, 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Peninsula Dr, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Old French Road // For more info: masonfarms.com
