Wednesday, May 9

The Station Dinner Theater will debut an original production, written by Erie's own David Durst. My Heart Is So Full of You is a "musical love story" featuring the songs of famed Tin Pan Alley songwriter Frank Loesser. Best known for the music and book of Guys and Dolls and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Loesser is also well-known for writing the now-questionable Christmas standard "Baby, It's Cold Outside."

The story centers around the fictional town of Melody, Pennsylvania, where a local library is about to hold a fundraiser. Complete with intertwining storylines and star-crossed lovers, the cast of characters themselves devise and perform a musical featuring the work of Loesser, which comprises the second act.

Bringing established songs together for a unique and cohesive storyline, the production falls under the "jukebox musical" designation, in good company with shows like Mamma Mia, Buddy — The Buddy Holly Story, and Jersey Boys.

The production stars Dust, as well as John Burton, Karen Nasca, Pam Durst, Emily Jude Olszewski, and Riley Droney. — Nick Warren

Runs May 9 through 27 with another run Oct. 9 through 14 // 4940 Peach St. // 864.2022 // for full dates and times, go to canterburyfeast.com
