Scotty Serves Up Trippy Treats Post-Halloween

Saturday, Nov. 3

First, there's a "sleaze rock band from Scranton, PA."

Then, it's some loud, hefty, versatile Erie-based rock, the kind the band wants you to know is "available for all your court case victory parties, baby christening and stripper and biker events."

After that, the night will be rounded out with some trippy, riff-heavy "Appalachian Desert Rock" from straight outta Pittsburgh,

That's just a little bit — respectively, from the top down — about area bands These Idol Hands, Black Moon Mistress, and Jakethehawk.

And, with them all on the roster for the evening of Saturday, Nov. 3, it sure seems like it'll be a good night for fans of hard rock, progressive metal, and post-metal to find something new to dig their teeth into at Scotty's Martini Lounge.

Awesome local music: The greatest Halloween-time gift of all. — Ryan Smith
