Support Local Creators at the Fifth Annual Artisan Fair and Music Festival

Saturday, Nov. 3 - 4

On the weekend of November 3rd, the annual Artisan Fair and Musical Festival will return for its fifth consecutive year at the Erie Day School. As in the previous years, this promises to be a weekend chock full of local artists and performances for the whole family, in order to raise money for the co-educational, independent elementary school. Dozens of creators, crafters, and vendors will be on hand all weekend, offering creations such as scarves by Mary Orsini of A Neck's Best Thing, spray paint art by Frank DiSalvo of Sir Doodle Grafx, and jewelry designed by Michelle Chylinski of ChyDezign.

But that's just the tip of the iceberg; one look at the event's current schedule reveals more about the weekend's music festival accompanying the Artisan Fair. Notable on Saturday are performances by The Little Orchestra, Michael Patterson of the Patterson School of Ballet, the Erie Dance Theater, and the Mercyhurst Dancers. Sunday's lineup dares to match that greatness with appearances by the Multicultural Dancers, indie-folk duo Cult Classics, Gem City Revival, and Rankin & Schell (alongside others), and Justin Moyar. The fifth annual Artisan Fair and Music Festival is set to be closed out by the Erie Day School Children, who were kind enough to lend their gymnasium once again for the event. — Aaron Mook
